1. RJT is “reserving return journey ticket in advance i.e. at the time of onward journey itself”. The return journey seat can be confirmed while commencing onward journey or after performing onward journey. |

3.A person appointed by APSRTC through tenders or nominated by Committee at regional level for booking advance reservation tickets to various long distance services operating from that place, is the ATB Agent. |
4.The ATB Agents issue Advance & Current booking of tickets to various long distance services for the passengers. Besides this facility passengers can also buy CAT Cards & JET Tickets from these points. There are about 2045 ATB Agents appointed at various places of important Cities and Towns. The details of these District ATB Agents can be had by contacting the concerned Regional / Depot Managers (These agents will sell only advance reservation tickets). |
| 5.There are ATB agents in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Tirupathi, Rajahmundry and other towns as given in the Reservation Points . |
6. A child between 5 years to 12 years
will be charged with half ticket. i.e. A Child who has completed 5 years
of age shall be charged half ticket and a Child who has completed 12 years
of age shall be charged full fare. |
7.Yes, while purchasing Advance Reservation Ticket to travel to TPT in Train also you can have Rail-cum-Road Ticket to board Tirumala Uphill's bus immediately after alighting at Railway Station itself without purchasing any separate ticket. You can travel free of cost in all types of city and suburban buses in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam cities before two hours of departing time if you are in possession of computerized advance Reservation Ticket for long distance journey (more than 250 KMs). |
8.Yes, you can book tickets by making use of Credit card at major Bus stations in the Corporation. |
9.APSRTC is operating special buses to Sabarimalai every year during October to January for the convenience of Sabarimalai pilgrims to perform Mandala Pooja & to have Makara Jyothi Darshan and also to visit en route pilgrim places as per your choice on special hire basis and individual fare basis. You can book these special buses from your nearest APSRTC Depot/ ATB Agent. If group of pilgrims book a bus at a time through a Guru Swamy two Guru Swamys will be permitted to travel free. |
